CRUISE Style Aid 2002 has two really big surprises. Television celebrity Denise Drysdale has agreed to be the Cruise ship director (board shorts and Denise are made for each other), and dance music sensation Disco Montego, along with Under Cover Angel star Katie Underwood, will be performing the hit single Beautiful.
Underwood, who makes no secret of the fact that she adores the gay scene, is still riding high on the success of Beautiful, which she co wrote with the Disco Montego boys.
“We all knew it was a great track,??? she says. “But me and my friends sitting in the lounge room thinking it’s great is a lot different from the public thinking so.???
In it’s first week of release Beautiful entered the charts at number eleven, proving particularly successful in the dance clubs.
“A girl friend called me one night to say she’d heard it in a night club and by the time the song was over the dance floor was packed. That sort of feedback makes me very excited,??? says an elated Underwood.
