DAY 1: THURSDAY 28 AUGUST 2008
“EARTHBORNE”

You’ve landed and we look forward to welcoming you to the sensational 5-Star Shangri La Marina Hotel Cairns. Our dedicated Spring Fling Help Desk will be open for your registrations and arrivals from Noon, with access to your hotel rooms from 2.00pm. (Or earlier if possible on the day).
You’ll check in with us, make the way to your room, and investigate your Spring Fling Welcome Pack and get ready for 3-Days of meeting new friends, pampering and partying.

7.00pm – 10.00pm: “Earthborne: Welcome Cocktail Party”
Bring your Event Pass delivered to your room and join us at the Hotel for an Earthborne feast of activities. As you enjoy great food, wines, beers and sample the specially designed Spring Fling cocktail, you’ll meet new friends and be entertained by the brilliant DJ “Bucknaked”. Time for a surprise and to introduce you to the first performer to make our “Spring Pad” where we introduce the community to sensational new talents, who we know you will adore. Relax and enjoy the fabulous young Diva, Katrina Barry as she takes you through a specially designed repertoire. And Later – the Shangri La welcomes you to their hotel bar, or you can head down to Cairns or the nearby Marina for some late night action.

DAY 2: FRIDAY 29 AUGUST 2008

“WATERBORNE”

Breakfast awaits you at the Shangri La buffet and can be taken at your leisure. Plan a morning or day out, take advantage of our fabulous “Salt Shaker” Pamper Seminars offered by Salt Clinic Sydney, or just relax and join us for a casual lunch.

Morning & Afternoon Seminars
Salt Clinic will offer two complimentary informative seminars, designed to make you look and feel great – sign up when you check in and register with our Spring Fling Help Desk.
Over the weekend, Salt Clinic will be offering options such as:

Massage - Learn basic massaging techniques. This is a hands on workshop whereby everyone will have the opportunity to receive a massage and to practice simple techniques.

Skin Care - and the latest cosmetic procedures. Will include information on microdermabrasion, Photon LED light therapy, Laser and IPL rejuvenation and Injectables (Botox , Restylane etc)

Supplements & Mens’ Health - Learn about various supplements and their importance in today’s lifestyle.

Naturopathic forum - In this Q & A, gain an understanding of Naturopathic Philosophy as well as have an opportunity to ask questions about health issues.

1.00pm - 3.00pm: “Waterborne: Spring Fling Pool Party”
Ready to get wet? Bring along your pool party accessories and chill out in the Shangri La Pool, enjoying a casual lunch, with unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks. Join in with the Spring Fling Complimentary Cocktail Making Classes, learn how to make The Spring Fling and indulge in the results, or just chill out for the start of your Waterborne adventure and rest up for the evening.

8.00pm – 2.00am: “Waterborne: Spring Fling Dance Party”
Get ready to be immersed into the Waterborne Dance Party and be joined by some of the local community, to dance the night away. There’ll be plenty of great food, wines, beers and soft drinks to enjoy, or you can purchase spirits from the bar. You don’t have to go far to the specially constructed Water’s Edge Marquee on the Shangri La Marina foreshore. Our fabulous Dance
Party will include sets by DJs “Bucknaked” and Sandi Hotrod accompanied by the incredible percussion stylings of Rob Morrish. Follow the action with our Celebrity MC and be entertained with classic performances from the remarkable Courtney Act, Australia’s Most Glamorous Diva who will be there with her dancers The surprises won’t stop and neither will the Spring Fling Dancers, but we have to keep some things a secret, so you’ll have to be there to see what happens.

DAY 3: SATURDAY 30 AUGUST 2008
“FIREBORNE”

Sleep in late, or Breakfast awaits you at the Shangri La buffet if or when you make it. Explore the great shops of the Shangri La Marina, venture out to the Cairns surrounds, or take a tour – there are plenty of options from a day trip to the beautiful Franklin Islands or the very fun Hartley’s Crocodile Farm, or join us and sign up for more Pamper Seminars and see us at the Spring Fling
“Fire Me Up” Lunch.

Start the sizzle. Join us for a casual BBQ with a twist – a great talk by local identity and Group General Manager of Puffta Media, the publishers of Gay Traveller, Josh O’Neill, will really Fire You Up and if that’s not enough, indulge in some complimentary Massages provided by Spring Fling. Again, unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks and food will be awaiting you. Catch some sun in the afternoon before you get ready for our special Gala dinner.

7.30pm – 11.00pm: “Fireborne: Spring Fling Gala Dinner”
Our Marquee on the Shangri La foreshore has been completely transformed into an elegant Dinner setting. Relax and enjoy our 3-Course Dinner with great wines, beers and soft drinks unlimited. Get ready to have some fun as the Celebrity MC takes you through a quick game of Bingay – someone will go home happy, as they win a great prize…
Just when you think things can’t get better, be entertained by the magnificent Diva sounds of Idol contestant Chanel Cole and Spooky who are there to entertain you for the evening.

DAY 4: SUNDAY 31 AUGUST 2008
“AIRBORNE”

Unfortunately for most Spring Flingers, it’s back to work we go, but not before we welcome you for one last time to our “Airborne Brekkie/Brunch” to say goodbye.
